The Collection

Exploring the narrative of Jewish history and Identity through the medium of paint.

A privately owned collection of Jewish paintings and drawings which catalogues major historical events of the 20th Century and onwards.

The collection explores the themes of forced migration, imposed restrictions and trauma. Sharing the historical context alongside the biographical legacy of each artist we are able to find commonality and shared resilience with artistic out put being a force of positive outcome, despite the horror witnessed.

We welcome any research or historical information to improve the biographical and historical archive.
